Salah Time Sakaka, One Tap Away: Add IbadahApp to Your Home Screen
salah time Sakaka can sit on your home screen. Add IbadahApp and one tap brings you straight back to today's times for this city, with no searching and no typing the name again. What you add is a shortcut, not an app: IbadahApp downloads nothing and installs nothing.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fajr | 2 | 2 | - | - |
| Dhuhr | 4 | 4 | 2 | - |
| Asr | - | 4 | - | - |

Jumu'ah, the Friday Prayer in Sakaka
Jumu'ah is the weekly congregational prayer, held on Friday inside the Dhuhr window. It comes in two parts: a khutbah, or sermon, delivered from the pulpit, followed by a prayer of two rakats led by the imam. It is prayed in congregation, not alone. The Qur'an speaks of it directly, and chapter 62 carries the name Al-Jumu'ah.
Use the Dhuhr window IbadahApp shows for Sakaka to see when Jumu'ah falls, and plan your Friday around it so you set out in good time. The khutbah begins when your own mosque calls it, so let the call from the mosque you attend be your signal.
A Seventh Century Mosque Still in Use Near Sakaka
About 37 km from Sakaka, at Dumat al-Jandal, stands the Umar ibn al-Khattab Mosque. It goes back to the seventh century and its plan has never been altered, which makes it one of the oldest surviving mosques on the Arabian Peninsula. Its minaret is held to be the first in northern Arabia.
The attribution to Umar ibn al-Khattab himself is disputed, so the date rests on firmer ground than the founder does. What is not in question is that it is a working mosque and not a museum. People still pray there.
Dumat al-Jandal is outside the city, so the times on this page are calculated for Sakaka itself.
FAQ
What are the prayer times for Sakaka?
Today in Sakaka, Saudi Arabia: Fajr time 4:57 AM, Dhuhr time 12:06 PM, Asr time 3:23 PM, Maghrib time 5:52 PM, Isha time 7:22 PM. Each one is when that prayer begins, and IbadahApp works them out again for Sakaka every day, so the list shifts a little.
Which calculation method does IbadahApp use for Sakaka?
Umm al-Qura University, Makkah, with the Hanbali, Maliki, Shafi setting, the default for Saudi Arabia. What separates one method from another is Fajr and Isha: most set those two by how far the sun has dropped below the horizon, and some by a fixed gap after Maghrib. The Dhuhr, Asr and Maghrib times barely move between methods. IbadahApp offers seven methods above and keeps your choice on this device.
Why are the prayer times for Sakaka different from my local mosque?
Mosques do not all follow the same calculation method, and many call the iqamah a set number of minutes after the adhan. Change the calculation method or "Juristic Settings" above and IbadahApp will match what your mosque follows.
What does "Juristic Settings" change in the prayer times?
The option labelled "Hanbali, Maliki, Shafi" places Asr when an object's shadow equals its own length, and "Hanafi" places it when the shadow reaches twice that length. It changes Asr only, so the other four times stay the same either way.
Do I have to share my location to see prayer times for Sakaka?
No. Search for Sakaka by name and the times appear. If you do allow location access, IbadahApp follows where you actually are; if you decline, it falls back to an approximate position from your connection.
Can I see a whole month of prayer times for Sakaka, and save them?
Yes. The timetable on this page lists the prayer times for every day of the current month, all five of them. Copy the month as text or save it as an image, then send it on or print it for the wall.
Does IbadahApp work offline, or remind me when a prayer time arrives?
Neither, for now. IbadahApp is a website, not an app you install, so it needs a connection, and it sends no notifications, alarms or calendar entries. Adding it to your home screen creates a shortcut and downloads nothing.
Is Maghrib the same as sunset in Sakaka?
For most of the methods on this page, Maghrib is calculated at sunset. Tehran and Jafari place it slightly later. Which one applies depends on the method selected above, so the answer changes with your setting.
